Hello Steve MindManager macros are not recordable like macros in MS Office apps. They are only programmable using the VBA-compatible scripting language. 'MindManager for Dummies', published by Wiley, is based on MindManager X5 and has a chapter on macro programming. I am pretty sure that everything that runs on X5 will also run on MindManager 7, so the examples should still be relevant. There is also documentation available in the Mindjet DevZone describing the object model and discussions on the use of macros.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a VBA project, but not for excel for against the mindjet mindmanager object model. Write a simple VBA Mindjet mindmanager (current version) macro that merges all selected topics into the first topic and removes any linebreaks. Example tree: Animals +-Dog +-Cat Should become: Animals Dog Cat Complex example with line breakes: Animals +-Dog +-Big dogs +-Small dogs +-Cat +-Big cats +-Panter cat is a example of a big cat.
Note the linebreak in this topic that should be removed +-Small cats Should become: Animals Dog Big dogs Small dogs Cat Big cats Panter cat is a example of a big cat. Note the linebreak in this topic that should be removed Small cats Skills:, See more:,.
